FlowStone Privacy Policy

FlowStone ("we", "the app") is a meditation and soundbath app. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
If you choose to sign in (required to use FlowShare, the app's sharing feature), we collect:
- Account information from Google Sign-In or email link sign-in: your email address, display name, and profile photo.
- Content you create: soundbath mixes, journeys, and playlists you choose to save or upload to FlowShare, along with any username you set.
- Usage data: basic app usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics) and crash diagnostics, to help us understand what's working and fix bugs.
- Push notification token, if notifications are enabled, so we can notify you about things like new followers or appreciations on FlowShare.
Local app settings and preferences (themes, timer settings, volume levels, etc.) are stored only on your device and are not sent to us.
How we use it
- To operate your account and let you sign in across devices.
- To power FlowShare - sharing and discovering soundbaths and journeys with other users.
- To send notifications you've opted into (e.g. new followers, appreciations).
- To understand app usage and improve FlowStone.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where it's stored
FlowStone is built on Google Firebase. Account data, FlowShare content, and analytics are stored and processed using Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Firebase Analytics, subject to Google's own privacy policy.
Your choices
- Signing in is only required for FlowShare - the rest of the app works fully offline.
- You can sign out at any time from within the app.
- To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below.
Children's privacy
FlowStone is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
